Lodge St. Andrew No. 228

During November 2015 Matt Murdoch a member of Lodge St Andrew No. 228 was being Installed in to the Chair at Lodge Northern Polytechnic No. 6039 Freemasons Hall in London.

Brothers Ian Matthew, Norman Stronach, Brian Kelman, Gordon Thow, Jim Masson and Brian Richards decided to go down and visit.

They stayed at the Union Jack Club at Waterloo which was ideally located for their visit.

They were made most welcome and attended in Highland Regalia (well most of them as someone unfortunately misplaced their suitcase at Luton airport!)

The Installation was very interesting and they even met a well know brother from Lodge Ugie No. 939 who has worked in banking for the last 30 years in London.  The hospitality and meal afterwards was first class and a great time was had by all.

The following day they took in some of the sights including the London Eye and were fortunate to have a bright sunny day.

Brother Richards an East End boy acted as interpreter ensuring they received cheap taxi rides!

Matt had a great evening and we are sure he has some fantastic memories and photographs to treasure.
