PGM Mission Statement

Provincal Grand Master
Bro. Raymond John Robert Wilson

As Provincial Grand Master of Aberdeenshire West, I am honoured and humbled to serve the Brethren of this Province. My mission is to uphold and strengthen the enduring principles of Freemasonry—Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth—through committed leadership, open communication, and an unwavering dedication to the Craft.
Over the course of my term, I intend to build upon the strong foundations laid by my predecessors, while also encouraging a culture of inclusivity, transparency, and purposeful engagement across all Lodges. Our Province is rich in history and tradition, but we must also look to the future with a progressive and proactive mindset.
My Priorities for This Term Are:
-
Strengthening Lodge Vitality: Support and empower individual Lodges to grow in strength, stability, and membership engagement.
-
Promoting Masonic Values in the Community: Enhance the visibility and relevance of Freemasonry within our local communities through charitable activity, education, and service.
-
Mentorship and Leadership Development: Identify and nurture the next generation of Masonic leaders through structured mentoring, training, and encouragement.
-
Digital Communication and Accessibility: Improve communication channels across the Province, making full and appropriate use of digital platforms to reach and support all Brethren.
-
Wellbeing and Support: Foster a caring environment where the health, wellbeing, and circumstances of every Brother are understood and supported with compassion and discretion.
I welcome the participation of every Brother in shaping the future of our Province. By working together—united in purpose, respectful of our traditions, and ambitious for what we can achieve—we can ensure that Freemasonry in this Province continues to thrive.
Let us walk forward in harmony, guided by the light of our principles and the strength of our fellowship.
